The safety of all road users is of primary concern to us at Hatton Traffic Management.

We work tirelessly internally with our Operatives and Staff as well as externally with our Suppliers and Customers to review, update and develop our health and safety system. We pride ourselves on our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems, and are certified to ISO 9001, as well as being accredited by Achilles Building Confidence, Achilles Link-Up, Achilles UVDB, Construction Line and CHAS (please click the relevant accredited body above for more information).

The training department ensures that all our staff are qualified to the highest standards incorporating sector scheme standard training (12A/B, 12C & 12D) as appropriate to the needs of our clients, in addition to further health and safety training.


Our work-assignment philosophy ensure our Operatives are as experienced as possible. We maintain a core of highly skilled and experienced staff who work with our younger team members to ensure they are given the guidance to learn and develop in a supported environment.


We operate a refresh and replace policy to ensure all our stock is of good quality and remains suitable and fit for purpose at all times via our highly skilled and experienced staff.

Technology & Standards

Hatton Traffic work with Local Authorities, the Highways Agency and Transport Scotland to ensure our systems are up to date. We maintain training on all new equipment and on legislation that is used on the highways of the UK. From training our staff in the use of Variable Message Signs (VMS) to implementing the newest Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directive (TSRGD) standards, our training team and TM Supervisors ensure our sites are run as safely and as efficiently as possible.
